Design & Development

Tobias Federmann

I'm fascinated by many aspects of web applications, from graphic and user interface design to the actual implementation.

I continually expand my skills by working on various projects, including this very website, which I designed and developed. My music project websites are another example, along with several projects I've worked on for others.

Below I will introduce you to some projects that I have worked on, or am currently working on.

Websites for my Music Projects

I designed and developed the websites for my music projects, TobeyBeats and Fedders, from scratch. I aimed for a modern, soft aesthetic with rounded corners, subtle shadows, and blurred color gradients that complement the music artwork. For the implementation, I used Nuxt.js for the frontend and Django Rest Framework for the backend, making it easy to manage data such as release information. Both websites share the same structure and design, with different content dynamically loaded.

Website for Shancy (Record Label)

Shancy is a new record label in the Deep and Chill House scene. I designed (in cooperation with the label owner) and developed the website to showcase their brand, artists, and releases. We opted for a minimalist, sharp black-and-white design with bold, moving headings. The website is built similarly to my music project websites, using Nuxt.js for the frontend and Django Rest Framework for the backend, allowing the label managers to easily manage the data shown on the website.

Personal Website

This website is my personal website, where I present my work and projects from all areas. I designed and developed the website from scratch, using Nuxt.js. Here I don't use a backend, as I statically include all the content in the frontend itself. I went for a design with contrasting light and dark gray sections.
